Working at FIVE STAR has opened my eyes to a whole world that I really didn’t
even know existed. There is so much talent in this world. With my job, I am very
appreciative that I get to witness so much of it. I believe Coach Billy Donovan
summed it up pretty nicely right after his team won back to back championships
“If you want to be successful, surround yourself with positive people and
things." In this industry, I have that opportunity. Learning about positive
leaders in our society is what I get to do for a living.

Who inspires you? My Grandmother. She gives and
gives and never really asks for anything in return. She really knows how to
treat people. I really admire how she worked her way from being the secretary
all the way to the top.
When you were a kid, what did you want to do when you grew up?
Be a Doctor
Where did you go to school? Oklahoma Baptist University
Name something (or multiple some things) you do that make you unique.
1) I have direct contact to some high profile people
2) I can make some pretty interesting sound effects
3) I am a huge advocate of the hammock
What is your favorite thing to do on the weekend? Watch
football while laying on the hammock with my wife
What has been your best client experience? One time, a
celebrity speaker I booked for a client ended up putting the client’s kid on
television for the entire National NBC segment.
Your office is on fire, what do you rescue? My easy button
What keeps you going? An internal drive to be better than I was
the previous day
What are your hobbies? Movies, pets, working out, pretending I
play the guitar
What are your worst fears? Public speaking…go figure…I work for
a speaker’s bureau
What animal best describes you? A flamingo…I often stand on one
leg.
Glass half-full or half-empty? It depends if the glass is
standing up right or if it has been knocked on it’s side.
If you were an ad, what would be your tagline? Making you the
priority
What is your favorite daily thing to do? Help people feel good
about themselves.
Favorite cooking ingredient? Is Italian sausage a cooking
ingredient?
