Paul Schmidt

Paul is 14-year veteran of Technology Industry. Prior to acquiring FIVE STAR Speakers & Trainers, he worked for Fortune 500 companies VERITAS, Computer Associates, StorageTek, and Anthem Electronics, a division of Arrow Electronics in a variety of sales roles covering accounts in the Kansas City area and surrounding region. In his sales career, he has sold over 15 million dollars of software & hardware solutions. He has been recognized for his revenue contributions and innovative ideas.

He brings a unique perspective to FIVE STAR Speakers & Trainers by providing a perspective on selling to and working with corporate accounts. His perspective and experience will help develop solutions to assist companies developing innovative leadership, growing revenues, improving operational efficiency, or reducing expenses.

He graduated from the University of Missouri at Kansas City with Bachelors Degree in Business Administration majoring in Marketing and Finance. He also attended Johnson County Community College with Associates of Arts Degree.

He is a life-long resident of Kansas City living in the Olathe area with wife and 3 daughters. In his free time you can find trying to keep up with 3 active girls, playing Basketball and softball, and cheering on Kansas Jayhawks.

He will have direct responsibility overseeing the operational, financial and technical aspects of the business. He will also be involved in establishing the sales and marketing initiatives needed to grow the business.

Where did you grow up? Overland Park, Kansas

Where did you go to school? University of Missouri Kansas City

Name something (or multiple some things) you do that make you unique. 1. I have watched every episode of M*A*S*H 4077^th; 2. I come from a family of 3 sons and have 3 daughters; 3. I am a fan of the Tour de France Bicycle Race 4. I had front-row seats for a Prince concert

What is your favorite television show? MASH, Seinfeld or Kansas Jayhawks Basketball Games

What is your favorite color? Green

Favorite board game? Monopoly or Poker

What is your favorite thing to do on the weekend? Hanging with the 4 ladies of my house

What is your favorite part of working at Five Star? Getting to know many of the speakers we work with

If you could be any animal which would it be? An Eagle

If you could be any type of car which would it be? Sports car that drives fast, hugs the road, and slices through the wind

Your office is on fire, what do you rescue? Laptop and the story book of my girls made by my wife.

What keeps you going? Making FIVE STAR a good source for speakers and trainers.

What are your hobbies? Basketball, staying ahead of the 4 ladies of my house

What is your favorite drink? Extra-Thick Hand Made Banana Milk Shake from Sonic

What is your favorite food? Pizza

What is your favorite daily thing to do? Give big hugs to my girls when I see them in the morning or when getting home for the day.

Favorite vacation spot? The beach in the summer, the mountains in the winter, or anywhere in between that will provide adventure and bring discovery.
